On this very day, 25 years ago, the people of Czechoslovakia rose-up against the rule of the Communist party.
Despite the harsh whether, and the armed units, they went into the streets and protested the totalitarian regimes.
Even several attempts at violently suppressing the demonstration did not brake the people's ranks.
For 13 subsequent days the people of Czechoslovakia continued their peaceful protests, the leadership of the Communist party resigned.
I look at the world now, and believe that the example of the Velvet revolution can still serve a great purpose even today.
I wish you all a good day
(this video was made for the revolution's 20th anniversary, but I believe it can still serve it's purpose)
